East Tennessee Homeschooling

Welcome!  I’m so thankful that you have decided to come to my site.  My goal in creating this site is to help all homeschoolers in East Tennessee as we navigate the waters of homeschooling.  I hope you find this site to be helpful and practical.  I’ve found many very useful Facebook homeschool groups that I reference frequently.  However, I’ve yet to find a single site specifically dedicated to homeschooling in East TN.  That is why I created this site!  I want it to be the one place you, Knox and surrounding county parents, can go to find the resources you need to train your children.

I am a former IT Professional, Biblical Counselor and mom of two crazy monkeys (a.k.a. boys) who I am so blessed to spend every day with!  I’ve lived in East TN since 2008 and started homeschooling in 2019 and continue to enjoy all of the time I get to spend with my blessings as I see them learn, grow and overcome challenges.  While homeschooling is certainly not without it’s struggles (cranky boys, impatient mama, etc.), I wouldn’t change it for the world.  I hope you feel the same way and if not, I hope this site equips you to become the mother and teacher you desire to be for your children!  Please reach out if there’s something I can do to make this site more useful for you.
